There was a large turnout of vehicles at the 7th annual Cruisin' the Market Show and Shine in Swift Current, Sept. 8. There were 100 entries for the event at Market Square, which included a wide variety of cars, trucks and motorcycles from different eras. The category winners were:

Best pre-1976 Ford – Garry Redekop, 1932 Ford Roadster; Best pre-1976 GM – Sean Haile, 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle; Best pre-1976 Mopar – John Begin, 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee; Best post-1976 Ford – Gary Arnelien, 2012 Ford Mustang; Best post-1976 GM – Roland Loewen, 2016 Chevrolet Corvette; Best post-1976 Mopar – Tim Bickner, 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon; Best truck – Dana Zacharuk, 1950 Studebaker half-ton; Best foreign – Reece Digney, 2017 Toyota 86; Special interest – Dan Hawken, 1953 Monarch Radical Custom; Best foreign motorcycle – Sheldon Penner, 1981 Yamaha XJ550 Maxim; Best North American motorcycle – Darrel Unger, 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster; Best vintage motorcycle – Al Kaufmann, 1930-40 Excelsior depression bike; Work in Progress – Greg Nicoll, 1970 Plymouth Satellite; Participants Choice – Bob Talaga, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro; People's Choice – Wayne Gorrill, 1968 GMC half-ton; Longest distance – Don Sinclair from St. Albert (700 km), 1984 Buick Regal Ltd.; Best drag racer – Al Kaufmann, 2008 Hamster dragster; Rat Rod – Richard Moffit, 1940 Dodge half-ton.
