Redcliff RCMP asking for public's assistance in locating the person who struck a cyclist on TCH

A male cyclist has been transported to hospital in Calgary with life-threatening injuries after being struck and left at the side of the Trans Canada Highway. Redcliff RCMP is reaching out to the public in finding the person responsible.

On July 8th, 2019 at approximately 9:00 pm, Redcliff RCMP responded to a Hit and Run incident on Highway 1 just East of Medicine Hat. A male cyclist was who had been westbound was struck and left on the side of the road until a motorist came upon him and called 911. The cyclist was rushed to Hospital in life-threatening condition, and has been air-lifted to Calgary.
