Female pedestrian struck near Flaxcombe

Written by

Kindersley RCMP were called to a collision on Highway 7, at Flaxcombe, at 1:30 Sunday morning.  A female pedestrian was struck by a westbound semi which resulted in the pedestrian being taken to the  hospital with what was described as serious injuries.

It was more than a century ago that WD and Alice Reesor filed for a homestead claim on a picturesque piece of land in the Cypress Hills, a place where they would raise their family and build what would become a very successful cattle operation.

If life has a soundtrack, this Sunday we will be hearing a lot of Twitty’s “That’s My Job”, Sawyer Brown’s “The Walk” and Brad Paisley’s “He Didn’t Have To Be.”
