Sask. provincial fire ban lifted...except Cypress Hills

With rainfall in many areas, and a return to cooler temperatures and higher humidities, the ban on open fires for all provincial Crown land south of the Churchill River, has now been lifted. 

Acknowledged for its historical integrity and association with the ranching experience in Saskatchewan, the Historic W.D. & Alice Reesor Ranch has been designated as the province’s 52nd Provincial Heritage Property.

The Town of Maple Creek is the winner of Up to 4,500  population category as offically announced Sept. 16.

Beginning October 1, 2017, patients requiring continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines will be able to purchase a machine at a discount made available through the Government of Saskatchewan’s bulk purchasing process.
