According to a report in the Regina Leader Post, and a fellow member of the Western Major Junior Hockey Writers' Group along with Prairie Post, said the Swift Current Broncos will be playing the home playoff games in Regina. According to Greg Harder, "the Brandt Centre, which is operated by Evraz Place, is available
because the Regina Pats failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Pats
had to give their blessing due to territorial rights, opening the door
for negotiations to be finalized. Brandt Centre officials are already
working under the assumption that they have an agreement with the
Broncos and the WHL. |
