Swift Current Hands up those who predicted the Western Hockey League results from Swift Current's Credit Union i-plex Saturday night? The Swift Current Broncos bombed the Red Deer Rebels 6-0 in another masterful performance by Morgan Clark who stopped 37 shots in his second straight first star performance. The Broncos were outshot 37-29. Morgan's performance overshadowed Justin Dowling's hat trick and one assist effort. Dowling scored his 23rd, 24th and 25th goals of the season. He assisted on Dillon Wagner's 15th of the season. Cody Eakin and Michael Stickland also chipped in for the Broncos with a goal apiece. GAME NOTES: Only Dalton Siwak, Brett Ferguson, and Justin Weller weren't in the minus category for Red Deer...Swift Current hosts Calgary Feb. 9. |
