Swift Current Getting to present cheques on live television at Telemiracle 34 on behalf of schools in Swift Current is a pretty exciting thing. Being selected to perform and singing a couple of songs adds to the prestige. But having the opportunity to perform with children's television show legend and Telemiracle veteran Bob McGrath? It doesn't get much better than that for Swift Current's Central School Choir as they appeared on stage about 12:20 p.m. Sask. time. Telemiracle raised an amazing $4,010,314 for the Kinsmen Foundation. More in this week's Prairie Post. |
