There is nothing like finishing off an undefeated season in league at home and in style.

The Swift Current SWT Pee Wee Broncos capped an undefeated season AA South Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League with a 6-3 win over Moose Jaw at the Fairview East Arena Feb. 21.
After a slow start Feb. 21 where they trailed 2-1 after the first and blanking the second period, the Broncos went on a tear scoring five goals including Riley Dekowny who notched two (consecutive) goals and finished with a couple of assists as well. Cash Arntsen (in the first), Levi Lamotte, Reed Jacobson and Mac Gross rounded out the scoring.
The Broncos finished with a record of 14-0-6, good for 34 points and amazingly only two points ahead of 15-3-2 Yorkton.
Jacobson wound up third in league scoring with 34 goals, 14 assists in 20 games and Rhett Evjen was fifth with 10 goals, 26 assists in 20 games. The top scorer was Ethan Ernst with a whopping 43 goals, 35 assists in 20 games. He plays for third place Weyburn.
The Broncos will receive a bye in the first round of playoffs so they will start in the second round after March 8.
The next action is an exhibition game against the Saskatoon Pee Wee AA Kodiaks in Rosetown on Saturday Feb. 28 at 12:30 p.m.
