It was really good news, but also bad news for the Swift Current PeeWee AA Broncos last weekend.

Swift Current beat the Weyburn Young Fellows Wings 6-4 in Weyburn Jan. 11. Reed Jacobson scored twice with singles going to Noah Wills, Hayden Wilm and Aden Gunn. Rhett Evjen picked up three assists.
On their way to Weyburn, the Broncos played an exhibition game in Maple Creek against the Medicine Hat Venom winning 7-2.
Wilm scored twice and had three helpers. Jacobson also added two goals with singles going to Gunn, Riley Dekowny. and Ryan McCleary.
It wasn’t all good news for the PeeWee Broncos. Prior to the game in Maple Creek, they lost goalie Jacob Herman to a broken knuckle on the index finger of his left hand and are now using affliated player Justin Dueck.
