The Jr. SunDogs 15 & Under Boys took part in the Regina Volleyball Club tournament held on Saturday, April 20. There were seven teams total in the 15U division, with the Jr. SunDogs finishing second after a hard-fought battle in the final.

Round robin:

SunDogs win 25-13, 25-10 against Moose Jaw.

SunDogs win a great match against Prince Albert (20-25, 25-23-15-13).

SunDogs win against Regina (25-17, 25-17).

The SunDogs finished first in pool after round robin with a 3-0 record.

The semi-finals against North West Fury was a follow up match against a team that the SunDogs lost to in the final of the Sask Cup in Moose Jaw earlier in the year. It was another great match, with SunDogs winning 23-25, 26-24 and 16-14.

The finals against Prince Albert was a rematch of the round robin game. A great match, but SunDogs never had the same total effort as they had in the round robin game vs Prince Albert.

The SunDogs lose in three sets: 18-25, 25-15 and 10-15. After getting off to a very slow start in the third and deciding set (0-5), the SunDogs made a good comeback but fell a little short for a second place finish.

Overall, a good day for the SunDogs 15U Boys team!  With their victories over Prince Albert and NW Fury, they defeated two of the anticipated top teams that they will face in Provincial playdowns, which are scheduled for May 4-5 in Saskatoon.
