Broncos’ Training Camp Set To Start

 

The Swift Current Broncos Orientation and Training Camp is set to kick off on Monday, August 22nd at the Credit Union i-Plex.

 

The Broncos will be holding an orientation session for the players acquired in the recent 2011 WHL Bantam Draft from Monday, August 22nd to Wednesday, August 24th.  On-ice sessions for the newly acquired players will happen on Monday, August 22nd from 6-7:15PM and Tuesday, August 23rd from 3-4:30PM.

 

There will be roughly 80 players in attendance at training camp which will start on Wednesday, August 24th.  The players will be split up into four teams: Team Sakic, Team Trottier, Team Tiger and Team Ruskowski.  They will participate in dry land training, on-ice practice sessions and games.  Games will commence every night from Thursday, August 25th to Sunday, August 28th with start times at 4PM and 6PM. 

 

The Broncos annual Black-White intra-squad game will take place on Monday, August 29th at 7PM.  Ticket prices for the Black-White game are $5 for adults and free for all children ages 16 and under.  Two dollars from every ticket sold will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

 

The Broncos Training Camp will be open to the public all week long free of charge.  The Broncos encourage fans to come out and check out all the action.
