The Swift Current Indians played an error-free game for just the second time all season but could not hold a late lead, falling 6-5 Tuesday to the visiting Lethbridge Bulls at Mitchell Field.

Swift Current scored a run in each of the sixth and seventh innings, taking a 5-4 lead into the ninth. But the Bulls scored first off a sacrifice fly and then off an RBI single to regain the lead and hand Indians closer Joey Evans his first loss of the season.

The announced crowd of 407 was a season-high for the Indians, who lost at home for just the second time all year. Designated hitter Luke Barry was 3-for-3 at the plate and has now reached base in nine straight plate appearances.

The Indians will host the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets on Thursday at Mitchell Field in the first half of a home-and-home between the Central Division rivals. Swift Current (11-8) leads the division by a half game, while Saskatoon (7-13) is four-and-a-half games back.
