A pessimist would say Spencer Franceschetti had a poor night at the plate for the Swift Current Indians in their road game vs. Weyburn. He walked once, but otherwise went 0 for 4.

Every other Indians' fan could overlook the 0-fer and celebrate an offensive explosion.

Every batter on the Indians' roster had at least one hit in the Indians 12-7 bombing of Weyburn. Swift Current had 15 hits in total.

Josh Rapacz went 2 for 5, scored a run and had 4 RBIS, Collin Hetzler, Max Gordon Kirk Haviland and Luke Barry each had two hits and one RBI. Parris Austin cranked out another homer (4) in his short time with Swift Current.

Dan Rogers (1-2) pitched a gem going seven strong innings, giving up five hits, four runs (three of them earned, walking one, but striking out seven.

Next action for Swift Current is tonight (June 28) when the Indians host Lethbridge and June 30 in Saskatoon.
