Haroldson takes Day 2 of the WPCA Tour in Medicine Hat

 Track conditions were once again perfect for the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour in Medicine HAT, as the races were run under sunny skies and a very warm 22°C. Tim Haroldson took top the top time of the night with a 1:00.75.


Mike Vigen gets some help from the outriders after his horses get tangled up in the reigns after turning his final barrel Friday night.

Coming off barrel number 2 in heat number 2, Haroldson, driving the Davis Buick GMC  outfit placed first overall for the day by a mere 4 one-hundreds of a second over day 1 winner Grant Profit. Kirk Sutherland was third for the night, while Troy Dorchester and Layne MacGillivray split fourth and fifth on the night.

In the overall aggregate standings, Grant Profit leads the way with a two-day combined time of 2:01.89.

He sits 91 one-hundreds of a second ahead of Tim Haroldson, with Obrey Motowylo in third place overall.

Colt Cosgrave and Kirk Sutherland are tied for fourth place, just 9 one-hundreds of a second out of the third and final qualifying spot for Sunday’s sudden death final.

The top 3 drivers in the aggregate after Saturday night will go into Sunday’s sudden death championship final heat. Winner of the sudden death final wins the 2011 Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Championship.
