Swift Current Broncos Ice Kootenay

A goal by Adam Rossignol (8) with less than five minutes to play in the third period lifted the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-3 win over the Kootenay Ice at the Credit Union iplex.


It was a solid effort from the Broncos who got a 2G, 1A effort from Christian Magnus (8,9) and a 1G, 1A performance from Ryon Moser. Both were a +4 for the evening.
Their linemate Graham Black chipped in with 2A.


Kootenay got 35 shots on the Canadian Hockey League's Goaltender of the Week Jon Groenheyde.


Both teams were 0 for 2 on the powerplay. Broncos' Adam Smith got two fighting majors.


Next action for Swift Current is Friday when they pay a visit to the Prince Albert Raiders at the Art Hauser Centre. Swift Current is 25-35-2-6 and sit with 58 points, good for tenth in the Eastern Conference.
