Poor Jon Groenheyde is going to have nightmares about feeling like a sitting duck target.

The Swift Current Broncos netminder faced 48 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Warriors in Moose Jaw Saturday. Swift Current had 19 shots.

Outshot 16-7, 18-7 and 15-4, Groenheyde allowed four straight goals including Travis Brown at 18:32 of the second period and then James Henry 25 seconds later. Henry had 1G, 2A during the evening.

Richard Nedomlel and Coda Gordon (1G, 1A) replied for Swift Current.

Groenheyde faced 43 shots in Prince Albert on Wednesday and 41 in Brandon Friday. That's a total of 143 shots in three games.

The Broncos are off now until Wednesday when they are in Calgary.

The Broncos remain in tenth in the Eastern Conference. They are 23-33-2-6 for 54 points. They are only three points ahead of 11th place Lethbridge. The Hurricanes have two games in hand. Swift Current is 3-4-0-3 in their last ten games. They are also winless in their last three (0-1-0-2).
