It was another close and exciting one at the Credit Union iplex, but unfortunately the Swift Current Broncos found themselves on the short end of the score.

The Prince Albert Raiders edged the Broncos 3-2 in the shootout, as Anthony Bardaro was the game changer. He scored with 10 seconds left in the third period to tie the game and send it into overtime and eventually the shootout. He also scored the game clincher in the shootout as Taylor Vause missed on his opportunity to extend the shootout.

The loss marred a stellar performance from the game's first star Jon Groenheyde who stopped 40 of 42 shots in goal. Swift Current sent 36 shots on the Prince ALbert net including 20 in the third period.

Levi Bews (9), who has been on a recent tear — four goals in four games — had a goal and an assist while Graham Black also scored. Black had been in a slump but now has five points in his last three games.

Next action for Swift Current is Friday when they hit the road to face Brandon.
