The Swift Current Broncos are sinking faster than sales of Fantuz Flakes.

The Broncos lost 7-3 to the Saskatoon Blades in Saskatoon Friday night. For the second consecutive game, goalie Jon Groenheyde was barraged with shots, this time, the Broncos were outshot 37-29.

Coda Gordon has his second consecutive game with two goals (24, 25) while Levi Bews (6) had the other.

The Broncos' undoing came on special teams again as Saskatoon was a strong 3 for 5 on the powerplay while Swift Current was 1 for 4.

Blades defenceman Darren Dietz scored four goals (11, 12, 13, 14) but incredibly was only a +1 on the night.

Next action for the Broncos (21-33-2-4) is tomorrow when they host the Blades at the Credit Union iplex. It's Sheldon Kennedy Day in Swift Current. Kennedy will be on hand to drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off.
