Swift Current Broncos get a win in Prince Albert Wednesday

Captain Taylor Vause as been scoring a lot of goals this year and last night, he scored an especially large goal.


Vause scored 18 seconds into overtime to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert. It was his 32nd of the season.
Coda Fordon with two (22, 23) and Adam Rossignol (7) also scored for the Broncos who were outshot 44-30 by the Raiders.
Jon Groenheyde was outstanding stopping 41 of 44 shots in goal including a 20-shot barrage in the middle frame. He stopped 19 of the second period shots.
Next action for Swift Current is Friday when they place in Saskatoon.
The Broncos are 21-31-2-4 and sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They are 15 points behind the 8th place Brandon Wheat Kings.
