The Under 15 girls SunDogs volleyball team hit the road down the TransCanada from Swift Current to Moose Jaw.

On Saturday, the SunDogs beat  the Muenster Cougars 25-17, 25-18 and the QCVC Fusion  25-5 25-10. However they lost to the Watrous Extreme and Waldheim Raiders.

On Sunday the SunDogs had a couple tough losses to the Muenster Cougars 22-25, 25-10 ,15-17 and the RVC Cyclones 20-25, 25-14, 13-15.

Katie Darlington-Kuebler and Kelsey Therrien led the team in kills. While Regan Lamb and McKayla Anderson led the team in serving.

All in all it was a positive weekend of volleyball according to their coach Tyler Byers, not quite the results they were hoping for, but the girls and I learned a lot over the weekend.

Byers is confident they will only get better.

Their next tournament action will be March 10/11 in Saskatoon.
