The return to colder temperatures will result in the re-opening of the five outdoor rinks operated by the Recreation and Parks Department of the City of Swift Current on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The outdoor rinks were closed temporarily due to many of the days this past week hovering about 0 °c.
“The staff of the Recreation and Parks Department felt that due to the above seasonal temperatures, it would be in the best interest of the public to temporarily close the outdoor rinks,” said Andy Toth, Parks Manager.
The Recreation and Parks Department would like to thank the public for their support and let everyone know that the outdoor rinks will remain open for as long as the temperatures permit.
For further information, please contact the Recreation and Parks Department at 778-2787.
