Swift Current Special Olympics have impressive showing at provincial games

Special Olympics Swift Current results from 2017 provincial games in Moose Jaw from June 16-18:

• Bowling: Women’s Singles: Gold — Val Laturnus; Bronze — Chelzee Proctor.
• Men’s singles: Gold — Dwight Larter; Malcolm Goebel — Bronze; Doug Radicki — Bronze.
• Mixed Team: Gold — Malcom Goebel, Dwight Larter, Anthony Robins, Val Laturnus, Wendy Miller.
• Swimming: Gold — 16 individual, two in relays; Silver — four individual, one in relays; Bronze — five individual, two in relays. The individual swimming results were as follows: Katie Durant — five gold, one silver, gold in relay; Tyler Servant — two gold, two bronze, gold in relay; David Philip — one gold, one silver, one in relay; Harold Robinson — three gold, one bronze, bronze in relay; Jenae Ruetz — three gold, one silver, silver in relay; Tamara Gleim — three gold, one silver; Carrie Funk — one bronze.
• Bocce: Artell Lentiuk — bronze; Danny Goebel — bronze.
