The Speedy Creek Racing Association was only able to host one of two race events at the Living Sky Speedway due to inclement weather.

Racing took place in four different classes June 17 with the return of the fast and spectacular Northern Thunder Dirt Late Models as an added attraction for dirt racing fans.
Only a few heats took place on June 18 before rain interfered. The event was postponed to Sunday afternoon, but unfavourable conditions again caused the race to be postponed to a future date. The rain make-up day for this race will tentatively be Sept. 17.
The next race weekend is set for July 15 and 16, when racing will take place in the Hobbies, Streets and Modified classes. The racing on both days will start at 7 p.m. and the July 16 race will also be Fan Appreciation Day.
