The final sporting event of the 2015/16 high school year will occur on June 3-4 as the SHSAA provincial track meet occurs in Regina.

Approximately 1500 athletes from all over the province will be participating.  Our contingent from the Southwest will include 96 athletes competing in the midget, junior and senior categories.  Action begins Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m.
You can find the complete schedule and results on the SHSAA website ( I will also be tweeting top 8 Southwest results on Twitter (@swacsports).
Our athletes had a good day at the SWAC district meet held May 25 in Swift Current. The weather was cool but no rain fell.  The track surface at the Comp is still resulting in a number of new records being set. Special thanks to our district meet commissioners Marc Benjamin (Consul) and Jamee Coupe (Val Marie) for all their work and to Swift Current Comp for hosting the event.
Good luck to our athletes and coaches at provincials.
