16U and 18U SunDogs win silver medals

16 U mens Jr Sundogs volley ball team won a silver medal in tier 2 at the Canadian West Volleyball National Championship in Calgary May 20- 23.

 

The boys with coaches Jeff Jago and Tyler Dickie, finished second place in the preliminary round of tier 1 Saturday May 20th.  

 

Saturday May 22 winning the first game but losing the next two games that day, the boys dropped down into tier 2,  Sunday May 23 the Sundogs defeated BC's Focus Blur 25-23, 25-23 in the semifinal round. Unfortunately the SunDogs lost to BC's Seaside Surf two straight sets 19-25, 6- 25 to bring home the silver medal.

The 18U Swift Current SunDogs men won a silver medal in the Tier 4 division in nationals during the May 19-20 weekend.
