The Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation is still raising funds to equip the Meadows, even though the first group of residents already moved into the new long-term care facility in Swift Current in early June.

The Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation was the beneficiary of a June 10 fashion and talent show at the Liquid Niteclub in Medicine Hat.

Gutsy Walks scheduled for Swift Current June 5

Do you have what it takes to make it stop? On Sunday, June 5, a Crohn’s and Colitis Canada Gutsy Walk will be held in Swift Current at Riverside Park in conjunction with Picnic in the Park. 

Gutsy Walk is a national fundraiser for the fight against the debilitating disease of Crohn's and Colitis which effects an estimated 1 in 150 Canadians. This will be the 21st year the event has been held nationally. Medicine Hat and Swift Current are no different with June 5 walks in each community.

Chase the Ace a major fundraiser

A new fundraiser is set to begin. The Chase the Ace lottery is a jointly run effort between the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation, and the Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Parrish of Swift Current.
