Duchess youths will be having a good time

Nothing to do for teenagers in the County of Newell? Not a chance. The Duchess Youth Network Group will host a youth night with games, music and contests Dec. 2 from 7-10 p.m. at the Duchess Recreation Centre. It is for those in grades 7-12 in the County of Newell region. Organizers are also hoping for some local entertainment.

Swift Current city council members have now been sworn in and they have already been at numerous city events such as the grand opening of The Meadows and Dorie’s House, (of which the City played a key role).

Currently there is a drive to get more homes open who will take foster children in southwest Saskatchewan and specifically in Swift Current.
