Broncos pick up overager from Kelowna

The Swift Current Broncos have acquired over-age forward Carter Rigby from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a 3rd round WHL Bantam Draft Pick in 2016.

“He’s a power forward with a great personality and a cannon for a shot” commented Bronco Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb.

In 7 games with the Rockets this season, the 6’0 224 pound Penticton, BC product has 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points. Prior to this season Rigby played 150 games with the Rockets totaling 51 goals, 33 assists for 84 points and 202 penalty minutes.
