Swift Current Broncos General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, has announced that the club has acquired 1995-born forward Geordie Maguire from the Regina Pats in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.

Maguire, the 6’, 175-pound product of Winnipeg, MB has recorded 14 points (7G,7A) in 27 games played with the Regina Pats so far this season. He was selected by the Everett Silvertips in the 5th round, 106th overall, of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.

He’s a really skilled player with a solid upside,” says General Manager & Head Coach, Mark Lamb.  “We feel he hasn’t quite reached his full potential yet, and will be a great fit with our team going forward.”

Lamb also announced that the club has re-assigned forward Denis Bosc.

Bosc will join the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL.  The 5’10”, 174-pound product of Dufresne, MB recorded one assist in 39 games played with the Broncos this season.  He has tallied two points (2A) in 68 games played in his WHL career.

Bosc was selected by the Broncos in the 6th round, 121st overall, of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
