Blanke leaving Swift Current Broncos

Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb announced that Bronco forward, Andy Blanke, has committed to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies men’s hockey team for the upcoming 2012-13 season.

Former Bronco players were back in Swift Current last weekend to catch up with past teammates and to enjoy time on the greens during the annual alumni golf tournament.


The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club has announced a new season ticket referral program called “Pass the Puck and Score”.

Swift Current Bronco General Manager & Head Coach, Mark Lamb, announced that the team has acquired Finnish netminder, Eetu Laurikainen, 20th overall in the 2012 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

Vause named WHL Humanitarian of the Year

The Western Hockey League announced at the 2012 WHL Awards that former Bronco captain, Taylor Vause, has been named to the Doug Wickenheiser Memorial Trophy – WHL Humanitarian of the Year Award. 


The Swift Current Broncos broke the glass ceiling this week when they appointed Dianne Sletten as the club’s new assistant general manager - business operations.
