2014 Canadian Armed Forces Small Base Hockey Championship at Ralston begins this morning

CFB Suffield will host the 2014 Canadian Armed Forces Prairie Region Small Base Hockey Championship at the Ralston Arena from February 4 - 7.


A total of three teams representing CFB Suffield, Joint Task Force North Yellowknife, and 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn will be competing for the Prairie Regional title.
The four day tournament is one of many sporting activities supported by the Canadian Forces, which promotes physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle in its members, as well as fostering camaraderie and morale.

Opening Ceremonies will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4 at the Ralston Arena featuring Medicine Hat mayor Ted Clugston, followed by the first game of the series.
