Friday, one of Rick Fraser’s horses was injured as reported in our previous media release. After receiving veterinarian attention the horse has been moved to a recovery facility. The Medicine Hat Stampede Veterinarian  is optimistic about a complete recovery.

Unfortunately Saturday evening, after running a clean  race, one of the horses in Rae Croteau’s team passed away of natural causes. This was confirmed by the track veterinarian who was on site and immediately attended to the horse. The veterinarian also confirmed there were no injuries that contributed to the cause of  death.
