Bandits sneak by Grizzlys 3-2 in overtime

Despite a whopping 47-14 shot advantage, the Brooks Bandits (5-2-2) needed overtime to secure a much-needed two-point performance at home against the Olds Grizzlys (3-3-2) on Wednesday night.

The Brooks Bandits (4-2-2) held a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes, and held the Sherwood Park Crusaders (4-4) to just 7 shots on goal in the first two periods. But a three-goal third and shootout winner from Alex Rotundo gave Sherwood Park a come-from-behind 5-4 win over the Bandits to cap off the AJHL Showcase on Saturday afternoon.

Bandits sign Jaeger White from Medicine Hat

The Brooks Bandits (4-1-1) moved into first place in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) South division on Wednesday night, after a 2-0 home win over the Calgary Canucks (4-2-1).

Bandits lose to Okotoks again despite 50 shots on goal
