Medicine Hat Cubs' Junior B hockey is more than just alive, it’s thriving.

Every tradition needs a beginning. Those who gathered at the Magrath High School gym were celebrating a list of firsts. Not only was it the school’s first-ever provincial volleyball title, it was the first time both the Zeniths (3A Boys) and Pandas (2A Girls) won provincial titles in the same season.

Over the past number of months, Medicine Hat Fish and Wildlife Officers have been investigating a series of reports of night hunting and incidents of deer shot and abandoned in the southeast region of the province.

It was day two of the 2014 CCAA Women’s Soccer National Championship hosted by Medicine Hat College (MHC) Rattlers.

Seven Persons native vying for Miss Rodeo Canada

For the first time in a while, the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede will have a representative at the 2015 Miss Rodeo Canada competition in Edmonton.

The southwest portion of the province held bragging rights when all was said and done at the South Zone Cross Country meet held at Echo Dale Park southwest of Medicine Hat Oct. 8.
