It's been mentioned that once Premier McGuinty lost the support of public servants, teachers, police officers, doctors, administrators and his party's credibility within rural and small-town Ontario his position was doomed.

Why is the federal gov't cutting food inspection?

In June, MP LaVar Payne chose to make significant cuts to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency by voting in favour of the Conservative omnibus budget bill. Liberals voted against these cuts because Canadians deserve to feel confident that their food supply is protected just as our farmers and ranchers deserve safe and stable business.

Heavy construction Assoc. needs motorists to slow down

The Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association is asking the public to slow down when travelling through a construction work zone. Our members continue to invest heavily in safety training, support, equipment and programs to keep their employees safe, but we need the travelling public to do their part too.
