ILTA Grain Inc of Surrey BC, through its subsidiary ILTA Processing Inc., is pleased to announce it has acquired four specialty grain and pulse facilities from the Parkland Grain/Pulse group of companies effective January 15th, 2012.  The facilities are located at North Battleford (2), Swift Current, and Cutknife.

The current 45 employees of Parkland will join ILTA’s  staff.  Further expansion of the facilities will be made to support the growing sales program of both companies.  The Parkland Grain/Pulse Companies have operated for 24 years in Saskatchewan and were started by Cyril Fransoo, a pioneer in the Western Canadian Special Crop industry.  His son Gilles will continue on with the new company and will be an integral part of the growth, expansion, and development of ILTA.

The management and shareholders of ILTA have been involved in the specialty grain and pulse markets globally for over 20 years. We look forward to providing both growers and and our global client base with many marketing options and opportunities as the  Western Canadian  grain industry continues to evolve.   ILTA is also developing  2 new strategically placed specialty grain/pulse facilities in Saskatchewan with expected completion in 2012-2013.
