Here's what's been bugging you or making you happy recently:

Bliss: Congrats to Maple Creek’s Taryn Parsonage who won two events at Agribition’s first high school rodeo.

Diss: Someone explain to me why is the chief executive officer of the national office of Mothers Against Drunk Driving a male?

Diss: A calling out of the
so-called Swift Current Broncos’ fans. Where are you all? You’ve got an exciting team and you can’t get anymore than 2,000 to a game? It’s absolutely pathetic. If you don’t start supporting them, we’ll lose them.

Bliss: The Swift Current Curling Club is doing a great job attracting big events. Big thumbs up to the board and its volunteers.

Diss: For shame on the hotel and bar owners who are complaining about the proposed Alberta drunk driving laws and then saying it’s going to hurt their pocketbooks. You’re telling me it’s okay impaired drivers are out on the road? You obviously never lost anyone special to you because of a drunk driver. Hope Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall comes up with similar legislation.

Bliss: Good job Jackie Powell. You are Swift Current’s best kept secret! (Editor’s Note: She recently won the National Petro-Canada Coaching Award for her work with the Special Olympics’ swimming program.)

Bliss: Good luck to the SunDogs at Westerns. You’re doing a great job.

Diss: Why do people complain about the weather? Yes, it gets cold, yes it gets hot. If you hate it that much, just move please? You’re making my ears bleed.

Diss: Are all the reality shows over yet? No wonder no one watches TV anymore.

Bliss: Thanks to my neighbour who helps out people on our street.
