A travel trailer was hit by a truck in the early morning hours this morning in Swift Current.

On July 31, at 2:39 a.m. members of Swift Current Municipal RCMP Detachment, EMS and Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 1800 block of 22nd Ave NE.
A 2012 Ford Pickup Truck was travelling west on Saskatchewan Drive when it crossed the intersection with Highway #4.
The truck then drove over a median and entered the parking lot of a business colliding with a travel trailer.
There was a family of six, two adults and four children who ranged in age from 3 to 10 year old sleeping in the travel trailer at the time.
The occupants of the trailer were transported to the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current where they were treated for their injuries and released.
Roads conditions and weather were good at the time of the collision. Alcohol is considered to be a factor in this collision.
