Two Swift Current people injured after early morning accident

A single car accident early this morning has left two Swift Current people injured.

 

On July 30th, 2015 at 2:37 a.m.members of Swift Current Municipal Detachment responded to a single vehicle collision in the 500 block of 4th Ave SE.

The 2009 Nissan Altima was travelling south on 4th Ave SE when it struck a tree.  A 23 year old female was transported to hospital in Swift Current with undetermined injures. A 22 year old male has been transferred to the Regina General Hospital by STARS Air Ambulance with undetermined injuries.

Both occupants of the vehicle are from Swift Current. Roads conditions and weather conditions were good at the time of the collision.

Alcohol is considered to be a factor in this collision.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
