School liaison officer appointed for Swift Current youth

The City of Swift Current, the Chinook School Division and the RCMP are pleased to announce that a Liaison Officer has been hired to work at the Comp High School.


Constable Jennifer Lepage has 12 years of experience with the RCMP. She was previously posted in Montmarte and in North Battleford. Before coming to Swift Current, Cst. Lepage was the school liaison officer for 2 1/2 years in North Battleford in three schools, co-ordinating her time between each.

“The City is thrilled to deliver on its commitment of a safe and caring community,” said Susan Motkaluk, Chief Administrative Officer of City of Swift Current. “We are excited to welcome this new member of the RCMP to Swift Current.”

Cst. Lepage has training as a Youth Officer and enjoys working with youth, schools and parents. Cst. Lepage is married with two children and is active in the community. She will begin activities this semester at the Comp High School.
