Swift Current RCMP' calls for service July 6-8

The following is a synopsis of Swift Current RCMP's calls for service July 6-8 for the dates indicated:


2018-JULY-6
4:11 PM - report of an adult female swimming nude in the creek near Riverside Park. Officers attended & located the female who was charged under the Swift Current Municipal Bylaws.
4:50 PM - report of an adult male who had been caught shoplifting from a business on the 300 block of Central Avenue N. & when approached by staff, took off running. Officers later located the male who was issued a ban notice from the business on their behalf. No criminal charges were laid in relation to the incident.
5: 10 PM - report of a stolen vehicle from the 700 block of Battleford Trail. The stolen vehicle is a grey 2009 Ford F150 SuperCrew with Saskatchewan licence plate 2981UK.
6: 12 PM - report of a male youth breaching the conditions of his probation order by not abiding by his curfew. This matter is still under investigation.
10:04 PM - request to conduct a well-being check on an adult female who had left work in a hurry & had not returned. Officers attended the females residence, she was home & was okay.
10:33 PM - report of a black Oldsmobile Alero driving on the golf course & lawns near Aberdeen Street E. Officers made patrols & located the vehicle who was traveling on a side road & was not actually driving on the course or on lawns.
10:38 PM - report of loud music on the O block of 3rd Avenue N.E. Officers made patrols of the area & no music could be heard.
2018-JULY-7
12:28 AM -911 call of loud music on the O block of Hayes Drive. Officers made patrols of the area & no music could be heard.
12:56 AM - request from a male wanting police to attend a residence he was kicked out of to obtain his belongings. Officers advised the male that as it is late to get in touch with the landlord in the morning to arrange pick up of his items.
3:03 AM - received call of a possible suicidal male. Officers attended the males residence & spoke to the male who advised he was not suicidal but had been drinking all night. Officers took the male to a relatives for the evening who agreed to watch over him.
3:47 AM - 911 misuse call from a male who was intoxicated & using very foul language with the call taker & was not reporting an emergency. Officers attended the males location after getting a second call through 911 & determined there was no emergency taking place. The male was warned about the misuse of 911 .
7:05 AM - report of suspicious person behind a business on the 400 block of North Service Road W. The suspicious
person had asked the caller for a boost & was concerned the trailer may be stolen as they seemed to be in a hurry to leave. Officers attended, located the trailer & spoke to the male owner who advised he was a retired employee of the business & had stayed overnight behind the business parked in the shade.
9:22 AM - report of nude female in a yard on the O block of West Place. Officers attended & located the female who was now inside her residence. The female was warned about being outside without clothing on. No charges were laid in relation to the incident & no other calls were received.
11: 12 AM - report of two very young male youth running out into the street on the 500 block of Robert Street E. Officers attended & located two children with their guardian who stated they had not left her sight & had not been out in the street. No other children were in the area.
11 :21 AM - report of someone trying to steal the callers truck from the O block of 11th Avenue S.E. When the caller got into his vehicle this morning the ignition wiring had been tampered with & damaged. This matter is still under
investigation.
1 :28 PM - report of a hit & run to a red Chevrolet Silverado that occurred at a location near the #4 Highway earlier this morning. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
2:13 PM - report of a two vehicle collision on the 200 block of 1st Avenue N.W. No one was injured in the collision & both vehicles were still drive-able. The collision was the result of a downed stop sign. Both parties were referred to their insurance providers & the City of Swift Current was contacted to put the sign back up.
3:21 PM - report of a two vehicle collision on the 1100 block of Central Avenue N. No one was injured in the collision & both vehicles were still drive-able. Both parties were referred to their insurance providers.
4:56 PM - report of an adult female in medical distress due to illicit drug use & there were drugs & paraphernalia in the residence. Officers attended the location & seized the drugs & paraphernalia from the residence. Further investigation into the matter revealed a 39 year old female was responsible. Roxanne Gordon of Swift Current, SK has been charged under the Criminal Code with Trafficking. Ms. Gordon will be appearing in Swift Current Provincial Court July 9.
10: 10 PM - report of a child custody dispute where the mother was concerned the father may not be following his supervised visits appropriately. The caller was advised to contact Social Services about the incident.
2018-JULY-8
4:59 AM -911 call of a possibly intoxicated male leaving Swift Current in a white truck traveling to Elrose. Officers made patrols but did not locate any vehicles.
9:14 AM - report of a two vehicle collision in the parking lot of a business on the 300 block of Central Avenue N. A white Mercedes Benz backed into a red Chevrolet truck. No one was injured in the collision & no charges were laid in relation to the incident.
10: 16 AM - report of a residential alarm on the 500 block of Aspen Drive. Officers attended the location & determined the alarm to be false.
10:53 AM - report of a bicycle stolen from the yard of a residence on the 300 block of 1st Avenue N.W. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
10:59 AM - report of two solar torch lights being stolen from the yard of a residence on the 300 block of 5th Avenue S. E. sometime over night. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
11: 10 AM - report of a male rolling what was believed to be a marijuana cigarette on the table & then entering the bus. Officers attended the location & spoke to the male who stated he had a prescription for the substance. The male was warned about possession of marijuana.
1: 18 PM - report of an abandoned bicycle on the 100 block of 3rd Avenue N.E.
3:56 PM -report of an adult male possibly breaching the conditions of his court ordered undertaking. This matter is still under investigation.
4:41 PM -report of an adult female stealing items from a business on the 100 block of Cheadle Street W. Officers attended the location & arrested the female. She will be charged under the Criminal Code with theft under $5000.
5:30 PM -report of an unwanted female in the callers residence. Officers attended the callers residence & the female left without incident.
7:59 PM -a set of lost keys turned into the Detachment.
