Swift Current RCMP’s weekend report

The following is a synopsis of calls for service for the dates indicated:


MARCH-2
6:21 PM -report of a dispute between two males. Officers resolved the matter without criminal charges.
8:14 PM -report of an odor believed to be marijuana coming from a residence on the 400 block of Central Avenue N.
Officers attended & resolved the matter without criminal charges.
MARCH-3
3: 14 AM - request received to conduct wellbeing check on the O block of 3rd Avenue S.E. Upon officer arrival a 58 year
old male from Swift Current was located deceased. The death has been deemed as non-suspicious.
10:01 AM -report of 84 year female in cardiac arrest. The female was transported to hospital.
1 :39 PM -report of theft from a business on the 1800 block of 22nd Avenue N. E. This matter is still under investigation.
2018-MARCH-4
8:44 AM -report of residential alarm on the 300 block of 8th Avenue N.E. Officers attended & determined the alarm to be
false.
9:22 AM -report of counterfeit money. This matter is still under investigation.
10: 14 AM -report of an alarm at a business on the 700 block of 1st Avenue N.W. Officers attended & determined the
alarm to be false.
10:44 AM -report of a hit & run on the 1400 block of North Service Road E. This matter is still under investigation.
10: 57 AM -report of 911 hang up on the 200 block of Battleford Trail. Officers determined there was no emergency.
12:29 PM - report of a hit & run on the 700 block of Central Avenue N. This matter is still under investigation.
2:52 PM -report of a male on Highway #1 walking back & forth & screaming. Officers attended & located the male, who
was calm upon their arrival. The male had been hitchhiking & was directed towards applicable services that could assist
him.
7:38 PM -report of counterfeit money. This matter is still under investigation .
8:30 PM -report of a female stuck in the snow on Grey Street W. Officers attended & got the female unstuck.
