The Sputtergotch Toy Company announces today the Grand Opening of their new Webstore, which has now gone live at

‘This website has been in development for the past 18 months or so” explains store owner Garry Koebel, of Swift Current. “We had numerous requests, particularly from many of our rural and senior citizen customers over the past few years, to have the convenience of viewing and purchasing our products online.”
In late 2015 the local shop opened a smaller scale website to gauge the demand and features that customers were looking for in an online toy store. To their surprise, the feedback was instantly positive, both from local customers, and customers across the country. “We were shipping items as far as Whitehorse and Prince Edward Island, so for a little shop like ours to have that far of a reach, we were quite surprised.”
Using that valuable feedback, Koebel worked at designing a new site with easy navigation, a great assortment of their most popular items, and a model that provided competitive shipping rates across the country.
“Customers can purchase items online and simply pick them up at the store, or we can ship for a flat rate across Canada for $14.99. Purchases over $150 will enjoy free shipping across Canada on most items,” explains Koebel.
With close to 3,000 items online, and growing, the shop has a great assortment for all ages and interests. “We have included many of our top selling brands, such as Lego, Calico Critters, Melissa & Doug, Adora Dolls, Cobble Hill Puzzles, Board and Card Games, and about 75 other brands and manufacturers. We have no intention to be the next Amazon,” says Koebe jokingly, “But, we are proud to provide additional convenience to our local customers, and beyond.”
