The Swift Current Agricultural and Exhibition Association’s Ranchman’s Ridin’ and Recitin’ is fast becoming one of southwest Saskatchewan’s largest fall events.

Set your calendar for the best in ranching and cowboy entertainment happening Sept. 23-24. Everyone is invited to take in the friendly atmosphere and western hospitality with free admission
Along with heavy horse, stock dog, cattle pen show, bull pit alley, trade show exhibitors, Doc’s Town food, and Cowboy entertainment, this 11th annual event has grown to include the Junior Stockman’s Show and a Little Stocker’s Program.
The Palliser Building, barns and all the arenas at Kinetic Exhibition Park facilities will host activities.
The Saturday evening features supper with awards being presented and live entertainment by Judy and the Divine Bovines joining the fun from Montana, and some story telling with traditional cowboy poetry by Bryce Burnett. Banquets tickets are free for children ages six and younger, $12 for ages seven to 12 and $20 for adults.
Ranchman’s Ridin’ and Recitin’ weekend is a great way to see real ranch hands demonstrate the working skills they use every day. This is a must-see event for farmers, ranchers, and everyone. Check out the hard-working cowboys and cowgirls at traditional ranching activities.
