The City of Swift Current’s Environmental Services and Community Services have teamed up to bring you a fun, earth-friendly contest for the week of April 14 to 22. Earth Day is April 22, and this year’s theme is “Play for Earth Day”.

Connect with the planet and get active with your favourite people over the school break by playing outdoors; maybe even try something new from the Canada 150 Playlist at www.playinsk.ca.

You could win a prize package of free family recreation passes, plus free recycling and shredding services for a year! Just post a photo of your family playing outdoors on the City’s Facebook or Twitter @City_SC – you must use the hashtag #Play4EarthDay with your photo to be entered to win!

Val Choo-Foo from Community Services with the City says, “This is a great opportunity for families to have fun outdoors, and a family prize package could be theirs just for playing outside!”
