The Swift Current SPCA Bookstore plays an important role in the fundraising efforts for the animal shelter, but without the support of volunteers it will be impossible to keep the store open.

Highway 1 bridge work will begin tomorrow

The contractor is advising motorists and the commercial trucking industry of a bridge closure on Hwy 1 east of Swift Current (city limits), beginning Saturday, March 25. The original start date of March 4 was pushed back due to contractor delays.

Chinook Golf Course driving range to open Saturday

The City of Swift Current Community Services Division is pleased to announce that the Chinook Golf Course driving range will be opening at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25. The driving range will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
