Highway lighting project complete in Swift Current

The Province of Saskatchewan, along with the City of Swift Current, would like to announce that their jointly-funded Highway Lighting Project has been completed. The lighting is aimed at improving safety on the Trans-Canada Highway through the community.

Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter was an emergency shelter in Swift Current, which served homeless youth in Southwest Saskatchewan.

After many years as an event and festival organizer in Swift Current, Shann Gowan is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends.

The Swift Current Agricultural and Exhibition Association Ranchman’s Ridin’ & Recitin’ displayed the best in western traditions on Sept. 23-24.

Swift Current Airport would like to advise the public that a simulated emergency scenario will take place during the afternoon of Wednesday, October 11 as part of a Federal requirement to conduct full-scale testing of its Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
