Tickets for the 30th annual Southwest Crisis Services Duck Derby went on sale on May 3 during a kick-off event on the sidewalk in front of Innovation Credit Union in Swift Current.

The Swift Current Branch Library hosted an outdoor party and barbecue to celebrate the library's 100th anniversary in the community, May 5.
The event was well attended and there was a variety of fun activities during the day.

Swift Current Fire Chief Denis Pilon presented a powerful message about the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and operational stress injuries (OSI) on first responders.

It wasn't the prettiest of hockey games, but the Swift Current Broncos played a near flawless game as their team defence was outstanding in a 1-0 Game Four win on Wednesday night against the Everett Silvertips in the 2018 Rogers WHL Championship Series.

The City of Swift Current Infrastructure & Operations Division is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a household hazardous waste collection day on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

With the warm weather upon us, the City of Swift Community Services Division would like to announce that the parks washrooms will be open on Saturday, May 5 for the season.

The City of Swift Current, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and Bright Beginnings Family Centre, is hosting the annual Bike Safety event on Wednesday, May 16 at ACT Park from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
