Individuals in Medicine Hat had a chance to gain better insight into seniors’ services in southeast Alberta thanks to an informational meeting held by Palliser Friends of Medicare.

Officials in Prairie Rose School Division (PRSD) are hoping to see more emphasis placed on science in a similar way as it has been placed on fine arts through Kaleidoscope.

Prairie Rose School Division board trustees learned more about the work being done in schools with the school resource officer based out of the Redcliff RCMP detachment.

It was a productive day for 4-H members at the annual Medicine Hat and District 4-H Beef Show and Sale June 8.

It’s another year in the red for the Prairie Rose School Division (PRSD) as staffing in the division will decrease by 9.64 full-time equivalent positions, but students will spend three more days in classrooms.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC),along with fellow partners, is offering a unique opportunity for southeast Albertans to gain valuable information about the landscape through a Prairie Appreciation Festival.
