A recently released report from the Heart and Stroke Foundation reveals that more and more, Canadians are neglecting their heart health. In fact, the report indicated that while the boomer generation is planning for an active retirement, they may be facing more health problems than anticipated.

Lethbridge's Enerflex MS Walk entries sought

Enerflex MS Walk is quickly approaching-Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th at Indian Battle Park beginning and ending at Fort Whoop-Up-(8:30 is Registration and Breakfast) in Lethbridge.

The Swift Current United Way ended their 2012 campaign on a high note — by reaching their goal of raising $100,000.

February is Heart Month, and an event is planned to kick off the month-long focus on the fight against the disease that claims a Canadian life every 7 minutes, and for which 9 in 10 Saskatchewan people have at least one major risk factor.

The Swift Current United Way has launched a new initiative to provide a helping hand to local community organizations.
