The Cypress Health Region’s Wellness Program, hosted by the Home Care department, is excited to announce a new home for one of its Swift Current programs.

Beginning October 4, the Wellness Program that has previously been held at the Wheatland Mall and Palliser Regional Care Centre will be held in the Gathering Room located at Pharmasave in Swift Current.

The new location at Pharmasave will offer participants with a large convention-style room that allows for additional space for client/health care provider discussions and enhanced privacy and confidentiality for each client.

“One of our wellness programs has been located in the Palliser Regional Care Centre for the past few months and we were grateful to have that space available to us. We knew it was a temporary home for the Wellness Program and we are so excited that Pharmasave has partnered with us to make the Gathering Room available. We would like to thank Pharmasave for their continued focus on supporting important community initiatives such as our Wellness Program,” commented Carrianne Schultz, Home Care Manager for Cypress Health.

Pharmasave agrees that the partnership is an excellent fit for both sides.

“The Gathering Room was designed with this type of event in mind.  We wanted it to be a place for the community to use to gather and discuss important topics and share ideas. Pharmasave has always been about supporting the community that supports us,” commented Jahnaya Mann, Managing Partner of Pharmasave #406 in Swift Current.  “Anything that contributes to living well and health promotion goes hand in hand with our business philosophy. We look forward to welcoming citizens of the southwest to our store and getting to know each of you better.  We feel privileged to be a part of the healthcare team in the Cypress Health Region.”

The Cypress Health Region’s Wellness Program is intended to help individuals stay well, cope with changes that come with aging, and learn to live with the chronic conditions that are often part of a person’s life.  All other wellness programming will continue to be held at their existing locations.
